Screen resize issue with X11

Hi,

Is this a bug or a problem with my usage:

Set screen resolution 1024 by 768 (my notebook).

Start X11.app

Plug in external monitor with 1440 by 1280 resolution and unmirror displays.

The mouse won't move past 1024 by 768 to upper leff hand corner if an X window has focus. Click on desktop (Finder) one can move all around. Click on X11 window outside the 1024 by 768 zone and the mouse snaps back within the zone.
