Open Office optimization

  • Subject: Open Office optimization

I am running Open Office under x11. I did not have any other x-windowing (Darwin etc) installed before installing x11. The Open Office.org site linked to the Fink project which gave some commands for optimizing Open Office for quartz rendering etc.. Was this necessary for only those who were previously running Darwin, or is it necessary under x11 as well.

TIA
