Apps with no borders. . .

Hi new to the list here, wanted to ask a quick question. . .

Has anyone found a way or is there an up coming release, that will take into
account X-apps that have no borders specified, such as gkrellm so that, the
top pane isn't added ? This is a known issue with the quartz-wm window
manager, was just curious if it was addressed or not. . .
