I'm very impressed with the number of fixes and changes that have made
it into the 0.2 beta that went up today.
The library install_name issue is fixed, the KDE kicker doesn't have
titlebars, and a number of weird focus issues seem to have been fixed.
I've interleaved X and Aqua apps and switched back and forth, clicking
different ways, and couldn't get it to act wrong...
Great job guys!
A couple of minor issues:
- I'm sure you're aware of this, but KDE/Gnome panel applets still get
separate windows rather than getting positioned in the panel like
the're supposed to.
- The KDE kicker is not resizable, but quartz-wm gives it a tab in the
lower-right-hand corner anyways.
I can send screenshots if you'd like, but it's pretty easily
reproducable if you start KDE up with a default configuration.
Other than that, my first impression is that there are tons of great
improvements over the last release, and even a few things that are
better than the recent XFree86 4.2.99.901 release. Looking forward to
0.3... =)
