Descriptions not showing up

I am not seeing any descriptions for packages:

[:~] gtate% fink -V
Package manager version: 0.11.1
Distribution version: 0.5.1

I am using fink commander 0.5.0 also and even when updating package descriptions with this tool I see no descriptions.

I have just done a remove and clean install of:
MAC OSX X11 0.2
MAC OSX X11 SDK 0.2

Fink 0.5 Binary
FinkCommander 0.5

Any ideas anyone?
