You have to remove the lock file manually after quitting X11.app.
This is actually a bug that got worse in beta-2.0.
In 1.0, the lock file was left behind only when you did not quit
X11.app via its "Quit" menu option. Now in 10.2 it is always left
behind, no matter how you quit X11.app. Not nice.
