Luc,

I plugged in a "PC" USB mouse with three buttons (the middle button is also a scroll wheel) and it worked great with no extra software under X11. The scroll wheel even works to scroll the "xterm" window!!! So the best thing to do if your mouse came with special Mac software might be to turn it off for X11. (Now I have to buy another mouse because my wife wanted her Linux mouse back ;-)

Cheers,
       ++Eric Fielding

I have a 3-button mouse.
To what must I set the right- and middle- button to be compatible with X11?
