MouseWorks from Kensington, works great with X11, though you need one of their products. I think they make the best input peripherals out there, except for the Orbit, I really hated that. I have an expert mouse pro trackball that I've been using for over two years, and before that I had an expert mouse ADB trackball that I used even longer. I've seen reviews recommend their products just to get the software.
