Hi --
I've been seeing an intermittent problem with Eterm that I can't
reproduce reliably, so it's hard to file a bug report. If anyone
else here has seen something similar maybe I can figure out exactly
what's happening...
Sometimes, after switching network locations and waking my TiBook
from sleep, one of my eterm windows hangs up. It can be moved and
minimized, but not closed, and doesn't respond to typing. It's not
the usual xauth problem, because other eterm windows don't have the
problem. It seems, although I'm not 100% sure, that the hung eterm
is always on /dev/ttyp1. The console log
has messages like
Xlib: sequence lost (0x200e1 > 0x1e130) in reply type 0xa!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x201e1 > 0x1e130) in reply type 0x0!
Eterm: XError in function Unknown (request 0.0): BadAtom (invalid
Atom parameter) (error 5)
Eterm: Attempting to continue...
Eterm: XError in function Unknown (request 0.0): BadPixmap (invalid
Pixmap parameter) (error 4)
Any ideas?
I'm using eterm 0.9-2 from fink and X11 0.2 with OS X 10.2.4.
Thanks,
Steve
