moving xterm

  • Subject: moving xterm

When i start an X11 session, 2 weird things happen. first i don't
automatically get an xterm window. The other problem is that when i do
open an xterm window, it opens at the very top of the screen so that it
is partially covered by the menu bar. now i can't move the window down,
because i can't get to the title bar, and i also can't see the first
prompt.
