x11 needs restart after sleep

  • Subject: x11 needs restart after sleep

After waking x11 from sleep, typing xterm in a new terminal results in:

Welcome to Darwin!
[csa091:~] markian% xterm
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :0.0

I don't know for certain that this is due to waking from sleep, or to changing wireless networks. Anyone else see this? I note that switching to X11.app and trying to open "terminal" from the applications menu also fails.

quitting and restarting x11.app resolves the problem
