I don't know. I have had a glance to my /usr/X11R6/lib directory, and I
have found these files :
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 62568 Jan 11 14:33
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.6.4.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 17 Jan 11 14:36
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.6.dylib -> libXext.6.4.dylib
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 96748 Dec 21 04:12 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.a
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 17 Jan 11 14:36
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.dylib -> libXext.6.4.dylib
But I must say that I have removed XFree86 and XDarwin before
installing Apple X11 (packages removed with the desinstaller program, +
rm -rf /etc/X11 and /usr/X11R6).
On the other hand, my /tmp/.X11-unix looks like this:
drwxrwxrwt 3 yves wheel 102 Jan 12 20:57 .X11-unix
("yves" is my unix login) and I have no trouble with it. But I remember
I had some with XFree86/XDarwin (before Apple X11), before I change the
rights on this directory.
