Sloppy

Does anyone here know how to make window selection in Apple's X11 "sloppy"?
So that I don't have to click all the tool windows in e.g. gimp twice?

Most of gimp's windows are more like Photoshop's tool windows and its
elements should activate on a single click. In OroborOSX it was possible to
make all X11 windows "sloppy" by editing the OroborOSX file.

In an ideal world (maybe we're there already and I've missed it?) any X11
application should be able to tell Apple's X11 wm what kind of windows its
windows are, and even be able to put a menu in the menu bar of course. Now
that would't be too difficult would it? A simple "Apple extension" on the
X11 windowing protocol? Or am I thinking too simple?

Ernst.
