Not sure if this has been mentioned already (if so I apologize...)

I noticed that X11.app left two files (/private)/tmp/.X0-lock containing a pid for quartz-wm
and (/private)/tmp/.X11-unix/X0 being a socket link if the app had been terminated by
methods other than selecting the Quit X11 menu item.


Subsequent X11.app started normally (without leaving a zombie) after deleting those two
files.


No idea about iPhoto...
