hi michhle
it's working fine for xterm (since I already corrected this - just the
way you do it). the problem is that when I launch galeon, or gftp or
any other application from icewm's application menu --> their menu will
be hidden by the osx-menubar as well... and i was wondering whether
there is a workaround for that too...
thanx anyway though :-)

i'm using icewm and if i launch an applicaton, the apps menu bar is
usually well hidden by aquas menu bar and therefore i can not move
the window around. of course i could set up a bunch of aliases which
could correct this problem.. but this is kind of painfull...
I don't use icewm, but I'll guess an xterm is launched or something
equivalent.
Just just the coordinates origin to 20, 22 and it'll work fine.
For wmaker, I use this( I mean under X11, I don't use quartz-wm, I use
wmaker):
exec xterm -geometry 80x20+34+22 -ls -sb -rightbar -si -sl 10000 -j &
exec wmaker
