I've been trying to track down why this happens

Launching New Apps Kills X11.

I'm seeing these crashes too. I've got several crash logs, maybe seven or

{snip}

A crash with exactly this back track has been traced with XDarwin to using one of several "haxies". Make sure you remove Silk, Fruitmenu, TinkerTool and any other wacky system extension you may be using. See this post for more details <http://www.xdarwin.org/forum/read.php?f=1&i=2600&t=2600>. I suspect that the "Odd crash when running X11" is a similar problem.

What a load off my mind! God, I hate those "haxies".
I believe I got this garbage bundled in the Aladdin Systems "Ten For X" package
(ten useless products that screw up your Mac and take up valuable space).

I hate the "functionality" these worthless add-ons supposedly provide
BUT I HATE THE "HAXIES" NAME EVEN MORE!

Names are important. Would you buy an Apple portable called "Booksies"?
How about a large all-terrain jeep painted bright pink called "Zoomsies"?

"Haxies" are comforting damaging hold-overs from OS 9
for people unable to handle moving forward...
kind of like wearing diapers at age thirty.

It was pretty scary reading about how OroborOSX creator
Adrian Umpleby can't live without these pointless baby toys.

Stay tuned for "Happy Time News"... the news that's only HAPPY!
