I'm not sure it's possible. You're trying to start the Linux X server, but
expecting client windows to appear on your Mac. When you do "startx" on
vmware, an X server starts on the vmware console. And that's it. It
doesn't care where you ssh'ed in from.
I the normal configuration that doesn't involve the Mac, I assume that
Oracle has an X11 client application that you start after you do the
"startx".
Instead of running "startx" from the vmware host, you should run that
Oracle client application instead, making sure to either tunnel your X11
display through ssh or setting your DISPLAY environment variable to your
Mac.
