The Mac menu bar coverup problem is not just limited to KDE's optional
screen-top menu bar.
Under KDE and qwartz-wm both, I've encountered window title bars
disappearing under the Mac menu bar. Under quartz-wm, the default xterm
would have both its title bar and first line of text inaccessible under the
mac menu bar. I had to switch back to XDarwin to get a usable X
environment.
Fixing the X11.app notion of where the top of screen resides, such that it
excludes the Mac menu bar, is crucial for making rootless X11 usable.
Either that, or we need a keyboard incantation for hiding the Mac menu bar.
