This is sort of an OS X question from an old Solaris user....
I use bash as my shell and have a set of .profile/.bashrc files whose
settings I want propogated to all X11 processes. Since I launch X from
the Dock/Finder (and not from ther Terminal), should my shell
environment get propogated automatically? I'm not sure it is happening,
and want to find out if there is some shell script X11 on OS X runs
first (i.e. .xinitrc), or if I'm just doing something stupid.
Many thanks,
Simeon Fitch
