I'd rather not mangle xterm itself by renaming just to get around
this. It may be a laptop, but it is still not a single user machine.
Then do this:
1. sudo mv /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm_old
2. edit /etc/csh.login and include the line:
alias xterm /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm_old
Now you avoid opening that xterm when you start x but can open it from
a (t)csh just like you normally would by typing xterm.
