xterm crashes when resized in vi

  • Subject: xterm crashes when resized in vi

I apologize in advance if the is a FAQ, but a quick glance through the
archives didn't pop anything up. I've run across a problem with xterm when
using vi. Resizing the xterm window while in the insert or append mode
crashes the xterm. Sometimes vi simply crashes, and sometimes the whole
xterm crashes. When vi crashes, the following error is given:

ex/vi: Error: tcsetattr: Interrupted system call

I never had this problem with XDarwin. Any suggestions on how my
configuration may be improved. Thanks in advance.

---Frank

p.s. This occurs both with the default xterm and my customized "xterm -sb
-sl 2000 -geometry 110x24_0_0"
