Even after installing the Xplugin.h from the XFree86 CVS and adding the
symlink for/usr/lib/libXplugin.dylib->libXplugin.1.0.dylib a full build of
the WWDC source in 10.2.6 using GCC 3.3 does not build XFree86 v3.0
completely. It _appears_ that some pieces are still missing.
For example these snippets from the terminal log of the build show missing
header files...

The result is an X11.app that says it is v1.0 and has many of the known v1.0
preference settings, etc. (e.g. Full screen mode). BUT still says that it is
running XFree86 v 4.2.1. FWIW after very limited testing, it does seem to
run "OK" but at least some of the 'new stuff' (e.g. Full screen mode and the
fix for window size creep) isn't working. :(
So without the missing bits, those of us without a developer seed code who
were not able to attend the WWDC will be stuck with the X11 Betav3 and its
quirks till "before the end of the year" ;-/

ps Thanks John, Martin, Torrey for your help in locating the missing
Xplugin.h and other assistance to this dev-dunce;)
