XMMS in Applications Menu?

Has anyone succeeded in getting XMMS to launch (and play) via the X11 Applications menu?

I've made several attempts, and have gotten nothing to work. Just adding "/sw/bin/xmms" results in a "Couldn't open Audio" error when playing a song. Adding "xterm -e /sw/bin/xmms" results in the same error, plus "/bin/sh: esd: command not found" in the xterm.

Is there a way to open xmms so that it can find the esd command? What do I need to enter in the Applications Menu for this?
