when running Matlab, i find that the figure windows
don't redraw properly--
eg, if i have a figure(1) which is then covered by a
figure(2), if i move figure(2) out the way, figure(1)
doesn't redraw properly. (it looks like jibberish).
I have experienced the same problem.
Here is the bug report I sent to Apple and Mathworks:
When I run Matlab with X11, sometimes a figure window will come up
blank and Matlab hangs until you click and hold in the title bar, and
drag the window slightly. Then the code continues to execute and the
plot is displayed in the figure. I also have a Matlab application
that displays a GUI figure, but none of the GUI buttons will work
until I click in the title bar and move the window slightly. I have
not seen this problem when running Matlab with OroborosX. This
problem appears when running from the Matlab command line and as a
compiled application.
I also made a small QuickTime movie that illustrates the problem. If
anyone is interested, I can e-mail it to you.
I have not been able to find a workaround.
