Well, that is a network issue which is unrelated to my problem. My
problem is not Xauth, but, that the when X started, there were two
monitors connected, and, after awaking from sleep, there is only one
and X still believes there are two. It sometimes then displays windows
on the non-existent second monitor making it impossible to deal with.
