Apple X11 and KDE from Console!

Hello,

I have installed Apple X11 and then KDE through Fink Commander.
When I go to >console. I am not able to run the KDE. I have specified
/sw/bin/startkde in .xinitrc.
Is this possible ? I was able to do so when I installed xfree directly. But
X11 from Apple is not working.

I am getting the following error :

(ipc/send) invalid destination port : initCGDisplayState; cannot map display
interlocks.

Please suggest,
