xterm - connection reset by peer.

Hi,

I've run out of ideas on solving this annoying little problem ....

When typing in an rlogin'd xterm after about an hour of inactivity, I get "connection reset by peer" followed by window termination. Only rlogin'd xterms exhibit this behavior, rlogin'd terminal windows do not. I'm running 'bash' on both OS X 10.2.4 and the remote Solaris 8 host that I'm logged into. I've tried setting $TMOUT (tells bash when to timeout) on the remote host to no avail. Any Ideas?
