I have a printer defined in NetInfo as GhostScript that is listed in NetInfo
in the printers directory, which I created. The definition is based on
FreeBSD printer device definitions. In Print Center rather than tell it the
printer was an IP printer (CUPS) I told it the printer was defined through
NetInfo. This was back in 10.1.3 days when my printer was on a Windows
network. Once CUPS came along and HP released the FooMatic drivers, I
removed all the NetInfo printers accept for this GhostScript one. But the
GhostScript printer still works (lpr -P GhostScript prints). It is much
slower than the FooMatic driver. I guess that CUPS just copied over the
printers from NetInfo.
Here is what the printer looked like before CUPS changed my printcap file
and renamed the old one to printcap~

:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:
Most of these are defined still in NetInfo.

utter a sequence of random sounds and mean by them a description of that door.
