Hello there,
I have a strange issue when running Mozilla remotely from a base RedHat
8.0 install - I cannot use accented characters within Mozilla when
composing messages or typing in text fields, although they work fine
inside an xterm and Evolution launched from the same box.
Xmodmap, locale and GTK settings seem ruled out by that (xterm relies
on xkb and/or modmaps, and Evolution relies on locale and
GTK-specifics). I'm assuming there is some sort of configuration
setting missing on Mozilla itself. I've been looking at Mozilla FAQs
and configuration settings, but cannot find any item of relevance.
I may have missed something obvious (and I don't think this is an
Apple-specific issue), but since I believe there were some people with
similar issues in the past, I thought it wise to ask here (if not,
well, maybe any solution I can find can be of help to others later).
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
R.
