Hi, now that I have been playing around with X11 and Fink and feeling
confident I was thinking I might try out some of the KDE apps. I'm a
little confused, if I install KDE using Fink will this affect my
current x11 apps that use quartz-wm - for example I use Pymol a lot
and don't want anything to happen to it like using another window
manager. I want to leave my .xinitrc the same so that my current x11
apps are not affected, but then for fun I want to be able to try KDE
apps. Would I be able to type in something simple for example before
I booted KDE?
I probably need to make a new partition on my drive with an
experimental OS X system on it for fun and leave my main system alone
to keep working but I'm waiting for my 17" PB (wait n wait n wait)
and don't want to do anything to my current pismo's drive. But I
wanna play with KDE in the time being.
