No. HFS+ is the 'standard' file system for Macintoshes. That's where
most of the effort is for development and testing. That's what most of
the Macintosh customer base expect. That's what most Macintosh
applications are and have been tested against.
Compared to UFS, I'm thinking that HFS+ is probably quite un-robust.
You are ill-informed.
I'm
somewhat a filesystem geek too, but have never studied the internals
of HFS or
HFS+.
You have a long, winding road in front of you...
Just curious about the facts behind this matter...
