A strange bit of behavior with xemacs and X11....
Since updating to 10.2.6 (I think),
xemacs (at least two different versions) now appears on my screen with
a dark green background,
barely legible black characters on top; and all of the buttons below
the menu bar are doubled up (with the
second instance displaced by half a button).
This only occurs when I use my window manager of choice, xfce, but not
with quartz-wm.
It also does not occur if I use xfce window manager with XDarwin rather
than X11.
Finally this only occurs on my desktop machine (dual 450 MHz G4); all
is fine on my laptop (TiBook).
Thinking something had gotten corrupted, I reinstalled X11, xemacs, and
xfce, and copied from
my powerbook all of my relevant .x files (contents of .emacs, .xemacs,
.xfce directories; .gtkrc.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks....
