The reason i'm asking is that (after all the pains and difficulties) it would get rid of many of the main problems w/ this system. e.g. how to make X11 apps/windowmanagers understand about aqua, like a X-based screen capture app, or AMOR or XEyes etc... I would assume that many of the libraries from X-Windows would still need to be there to be able to build X11 apps, but the actual X server i would think would be more functional, faster, and less of a head-ache (in the long run) than as a separate app. I would think (i may be wrong) that some of these will require pain-in-the-ass workarounds and extra overhead to make work with the X server as a separate app. Am i making sense? thanx, JP
