Some windows, such as alerts and warnings, may not wish to be
minimized. If a window has children windows, the may not want to be
minimized until it's children are closed. For instance, if the window
pops up a child window to configure options on the parent, it may not
sense to minimize the parent window being configured.
I'm dropping out of this discussion because we are now focusing on
native Mac OS X, and not X11. I see it as being somewhat off-topic for
this list. We can continue it in private if you want.
