Fonts. Your linux pictures have larger fonts. And most especially, they're
antialiased. Your OS X fonts are tiny and jagged. Big differences.

BTW, Command-shift-3 and command-shift-4 work great in OS X. I can't
remember the last time I had to use the Grab application.
