if you go to /etc/ssh_config and set
ForwardX11 yes (on your _client machine)
then you never need to use the -X flag in ssh.
second point, in the "common mistakes", the second one says not to
check "allow connections" in the preference checkbox. It does not say
_what preference checkbox we're talking about here???
Also, doesn't the remote mac have to have "remote login" enabled in
sharing preferences?
further, you can set up a public key so that you never have to type
your password. Of course, you should only do this if your client is
secure.... or am I wrong, and is the private key on the server?
