There are plenty of other ways to run X11 on 10.2. For example,

If you really need Apple X11 for an "application at work", Mac OS X
10.3, which includes Apple X11 1.0 and is Apple's chosen method for
distributing Apple X11 1.0, is now available.
I don't see how an unsupported beta of Apple X11 on 10.2 would be
desirable for application use or development, and if you don't want or
can't get 10.3 for whatever reason, there are other ways to run X11 on
Mac OS X.

[demime 0.98b removed an attachment of type application/pkcs7-signature which had a name of smime.p7s]
