I just upgraded to Panther and was happy to see X11 version 1.0
included with it, having used the beta versions for quite awhile.
However, while running xv (3.10a) under it, I found that the main xv
image window would often not update properly when viewing a set of
images.
For example, if I have a directory (~/foo) of jpg images, and view it
using:
cd ~/foo
xv -maxpect *.jpg
then use xv's 'SPACE' command to move through them, sometimes, but not
always, the title bar of the image window would update correctly to the
new filename, but the image itself would remain stagnant with the old
image.
This exact scenario worked fine under OSX 10.2.8 using X11 Beta 3.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or did something else change for
the worse? Or perhaps there is a different xv version I should
install?
I'm on a Quicksilver 2002 (twin 1Gs with 1.5G RAM).
Thanks for any pointers.
/d
