Is there any way, other than setting the XSetWindowAttributes.override_redirect to True, to tell the Quartz-wm to let x11 windows be positioned, using XMoveWindow, under the Mac menubar? Normally, with override_redirect = False, Quartz-wm will force the window to stay below the menubar. I want to be able to position my x windows anywhere (y < 25) yet still have the wm put my minimized X windows in the dock and to manage my window's z-order with other x and mac windows. Any WMHints that would turn off the window reposition? Or maybe set override_redirect to true and be able to turn wm z-order and dock handling back on?
