I use my Laptop at work and home, with multiple desktops
and sometimes with dozens of X11 windows open on different
desktops. X11 doesn't seem to be aware of location changes,
so when I go from work to home (and vice versa), X11 doesn't
function properly, and I have to close all X11 windows and re-start
X11.
Is there a parameter or command I can use to change my
network settings without having to restart X11?
Thanks for any advice....
Mike
I have no problem with this either... logon at work with ethernet,
and then home with airport, and just can access a remote machine via
ssh in xterm without changing any settings...
