The -kb turns off X's keyboard extensions and no more stuck

Assuming this is not a bug, since it has persisted this
long, and that those running it under different conditions
to me need it set up this way, how do I set things up so it
turns keyboard extensions off by default? So I can just
start it by clicking on the XDarwin icon. Is there
something that can be added to the preferences file
(org.xfree86.XDarwin.plist)? Or, better, a way to set it
globally for all users on a given mac?
There is no preference for this although there probably should be.
This and other problems with XKB have just come to light. XKB is not
really properly supported yet on Mac OS X (by either XDarwin or
X11.app) but unfortunately it works well enough to occasionally cause
problems.
You can try to edit the script
/Applications/XDarwin.app/Contents/Resources/startXClients
This is a useful place to edit client startup options, but
unfortunately it is too late for the Xserver. This script is run by
the server to start the X clients by executing the startup script in
~/.xinitrc or the global startup script.
