This Xfree86 version (4.3.99.902) seems to work fine for me,
except it still has the same Caps Lock behaviour as 4.3.0 --
you need to press it two extra times to turn it back off
(one press turns it on, three to turn it off). This is
running in full-screen mode with the out-of-the box setup
(click on XDarwin icon to start) on 10.2.8 on a 12" TiBook.
A solution to this was posted to the fink-users list back in June:

Assuming this is not a bug, since it has persisted this
long, and that those running it under different conditions
to me need it set up this way, how do I set things up so it
turns keyboard extensions off by default? So I can just
start it by clicking on the XDarwin icon. Is there
something that can be added to the preferences file
(org.xfree86.XDarwin.plist)? Or, better, a way to set it
globally for all users on a given mac?
thanks!
