With XEmacs, the traditional Emacs kill and yank infrastructure is seperate
from the X selections and the copy infrastructure. To copy something _out_
of XEmacs--rather than from one file to another within XEmacs--Edit -> Copy
works for me. From there I can press Cmd-v in normal OS X applications,
although I do have to do it twice, as other people noted. Pasting needs to
be done using Edit -> Paste, too (though perhaps a middle mouse button click
would do it--I'm using the single button mouse my machine shipped with.)
It's pretty much as described in http://www.jwz.org/doc/x-cut-and-paste.html
.
