I have downloaded the latest X11 version and installed it on my

appears in the utilities folder.
When I open it by double clicking (or via terminal, or via launch
of an
X11 dependent program) X11 launches, the cursor turns to an X, and then
shortly thereafter (ten seconds at most) the program invariably
closes. The
terminal window does not appear.
I have no idea why this is happening and have reinstalled thX11
twice
now with the same result.
