I had posted that my X11 application (iBook, G3, MacosX 10.3.5) opened
and died without fail. KG led me through various troubleshooting steps which
determined that my .xinitrc file was bad or missing. The following from
Kevin got me through the problem and now x11 works as it should.
If I understand the instructions below I removed a directory named
.xintric and created a new file of the same name with the specified contents
Kevin gave me. Then I tried x11 and it worked fine.
I am not sure why the problem developed. I just loaded X11 on my home
iMac and it loaded and started without incident.
