Thanks. I was able to see the logs and the X Windows errors. This is
what I see:
XFree86 Version 4.3.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
_XSERVTransSocketINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running
Fatal server error:
Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't
already running
OsVendorFatalError
AbortDDX
Quitting XDarwin...
I rebooted my Mac and still get this error. Don't know why it thinks
X is running.
Suggestions?

I was able to start X11 and run apps for a while. Now when I try to
run X11.app the X icon bounces for a while and then quits with no
information. I don't know enough about Unix or X11 to know where to
look for a log. After searching the web I'm guessing that some file
is locked. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks,
Mark
