When I upgraded to Tiger, X1 was disabled, at least for the links to applications. The only one that works is the TERMINAL. I use X11 for linking to a Sun server, and thus get the GUI windows from that other machine. however, all of the local software I installed, such as mahjongg, gimp, OpenOffice (x11 verion), and lots of other stuff, none of it works. I haven't had time to look at the problem. I'd like to completely uninstall the X11 software since it is very large on my disk and does not work.
