Anyone have any ideas?
I have set the remote Freebsd /etc/sshd_config file to allow x11 forwarding
and the local OSX /etc/ssh_config file to allow x11 forwarding but I still
get the same error.
Thank you for your help,

A possible problem is that the hostname 'unix' does resolve. Add 'unix'
to your
local DNS. If that is not possible, you could disble X security with -ac
on the
command line. Or, you could try changing the name of your host to
'localhost'.
