Hello-
I am very new to the apple world. I am a fairly proficient UNIX/ LINUX user and thus the reason for getting a MAC. However, I have read all the directions and I can find and I get the following error when attempting to open any X11 apps from the Terminal (Terminal, not xterm).
justin:~justin$ emacs &
[1] 279
justin:~ justin$ emacs: Cannot connect to X server :0.0.
Check the DISPLAY environment variable or use `-d'.
Also use the `xhost' program to verify that it is set to permit
connections from your machine.

Can anyone please help me?
Justin
