Yes, I tried the various possibilities working back to /ddd-3.3.11 for both
environment variables (DDD_HOME and XAPPLRESDIR) without success, as well as
trying to place the Ddd file in the ~/.ddd directory and that was created in
my home directory. No success with any approach. My guess is that the
solution is something obvious and simple, like missing quote marks, but I'm
missing it.

Now I'll wait for the ddd list reply to see if they have any ideas. Thanks.
